The Vent Adapter Doesn’t Fit My Vent Opening!

All is not lost!

Most manufacturers use fairly standard sizes that our vent adapters fit very well. There are a handful that use smaller vent openings and some that have significantly larger openings. Not a problem!

My vent opening is LARGER than the KoolRV system

While not uncommon, it is not so common that we include the fix in our boxes. Why? Because we try to reduce waste and know that 95% of the parts would simply go in the trash. This is where we ask for your participation. 

The fix for too large an opening is to simply adjust the size of the opening with a very inexpensive ($0.88) piece of flashing shingle. Here are two links to flashing you can pick up at your local Home Depot:

Simply cut them in half, tape each of them to the openings to fit our adapters and you are done!

My vent opening is SMALLER than the KoolRV system

Odds are you own a Winnebago or a Jayco. Again, not a problem! 

Our adapters are made from plastic for a reason. They can be cut to fit. The picture below shows where to take off the material to fit your rig. Use a Dremel, saw or other appropriate cutting instrument to remove the amount needed and you are good to go. Best part? This WILL NOT void our money back guarantee.

There is a DIVIDER running through the center of my duct opening

You may find an insert like the one in the picture below with a divider running down the center. Simply remove this insert to install our vent adapter.
